Summary

Osteopath J.R.Bayliss DO at the ‘Bayliss Osteopathic Clinic’  has made a film for medical professionals. The film is about  a new protocol to demonstrate how the joints of  the back move in synchronization and how they become locked and the posture problems this creates.  He has also recently written a book on the mechanics of the spine and the new type of manipulation called Passive-Prone-Technique abbreviated to PPT, that he discovered.

PPT’s deliver genuine manipulations that are both noiseless and so gentle that in a research group 50% of the people did not know that they had been manipulated. All patients have to do is adopt a prone position on the couch and relax.   

Because PPT manipulations have such a  low trauma footprint  all the joints of  the back and sacroiliac joints can be corrected in one session. This offers the potential to align the spinal joints to a degree that was not previously possible with conventional manipulation. Hence their nickname ‘True Alignment’.
